What is Traditional Chinese medicine?

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a 5000 year old medical system that has been practiced by millions of people throughout the world. TCM is a way of wellness that includes Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Microcurrent & Light Therapy, Nutrition, Massage, Tai Qi, and Qi Gong. TCM corrects the body’s imbalances by regulating the flow of Qi, the energy in the body’s meridians, leading it to areas where it is insufficient and draining it from areas where it is stuck or too abundant.

The World Health Organization recognizes the ability of acupuncture and TCM in treating a wide range of symptoms and disorders including: pain, circulatory, respiratory, and digestive disorders, gynecological problems, sports injuries, hepatitis, addictions, colds and flu, and many others.

Finding your Own Balance Point.

TCM is based on balanced energy in the body. On your first visit, a comprehensive intake is used to diagnose patterns of energy imbalance. TCM diagnostic practices include a complete health history, pattern recognition, as well as special observations of your pulse and tongue. Once the imbalance is determined, a customized TCM treatment plan is set immediately to restore balance in body, mind, and spirit.

I offer complimentary consultation for those who are curious to learn more about the benefits of TCM treatment.
